What Zawiyah is

Zawiyah is a devotional companion app for followers of the Ahlul Bayt (AS): Morning and Evening A'māl, an Islamic calendar, tasbeeh counters, a library of religious texts, and stories. It is offered free of charge, with no advertising and no in-app purchases in this version.

Not a source of religious rulings

Zawiyah does not issue fatwas and does not replace a scholar or marja'. Where the app labels content as AI-assisted or as pending scholarly review, treat it accordingly — as a starting point, not a verified religious ruling. For religious rulings, consult a qualified scholar directly.

Your private actions and requests

Custom duas, a'māl, and other private actions you add stay on your device — see the Privacy Policy for detail. You're responsible for the text you type into the app; don't submit anything unlawful, abusive, or infringing on someone else's rights.

Downloaded content

Reference texts you open or download through the app's Library are provided for personal devotional use. Where a source or reference is shown, it reflects the best information available at the time; if you notice an error, please contact us.

No warranty

Zawiyah is provided "as is." We make reasonable efforts to keep calculated information (such as namaz timings and the Hijri date) accurate, but you should not rely on the app as your sole source for time-critical religious obligations without independent verification, especially while features are still being validated.
