Data Deletion
Zawiyah has no account system, so there is no account to delete. Almost everything described in the Privacy Policy is stored locally on your device only and never reaches our servers at all. The one exception is the Ask a Question feature: the text you type is sent off-device to generate an answer (see the Privacy Policy's "Ask a Question" section), and a one-way hashed version of your IP address — never the address itself — is kept briefly server-side to cap daily usage. Neither is tied to your identity, since Zawiyah has no account system to tie it to, and both are designed to be short-lived rather than retained.
To remove specific data, without uninstalling
- A Morning or Evening A'māl counter: open the item and use its reset control, or leave the routine to reset it automatically.
- A private action or custom dua/a'māl request: remove it directly from the Actions list.
- A downloaded reference text: open it in the Library and choose "Remove from device."
To remove all data
Uninstall the app. This permanently deletes the local database and all preferences described in the Privacy Policy — language setting, text size, devotional progress, private actions, and downloaded text ids. The only data that ever reaches our servers (Ask a Question text, and the hashed daily-usage counter described above) isn't tied to your device or identity, so there is nothing further to request deletion of beyond uninstalling.
